I love our company

Yes that’s true; I love our company in as much as I love my work. Our company provides us our needs; hence it is a pillar of our life. When you love your company, you will give your best to them. For our company, I give my loyalty, compassion, trust and courage. I think this is the reason why I felt sad when I learned that a scammer hit our company online by writing libelous allegations against us.

It happened in 2009 when a frustrated applicant fought back when he was rejected by our company when he applied. When you try to search our company’s name on Google search, the article link from that scammer will then appear on Google’s first page. I believe that our company did not commit that allegation since we value applicants for they are future nation builders. On our company’s part, it is unfair that we experience such kind of frenzy from an individual whose aim is to shame us in business community. Companies like ours should acquire reputation management services from reputation management companies because companies that are compassionate to others do not deserve such kind of shame.

Thanks to Cavitex

Before, the travel from Naic to Manila (vice versa) was a pain in the ass. It had taken me two hours (because I commute),  one hour stuck in that hell part of Bacoor, considering that Naic is just 47 kilometers away to Rizal monument, the point of origin. The cause of the heavy traffic was that, the portion of Aguinaldo highway in Talaba, Bacoor going to SM Bacoor could easily become congested because vehicles  bound to the south (Bacoor, Imus, Dasmarinas, Silang, Tagaytay) and west (Kawit, Noveleta, Gen Trias, Tanza, Naic, and so on) meet there. So, the accumulation of vehicles in that part of the not-so-wide Aguinaldo highway, caused that irritating heavy traffic.

Since Cavitex opened last May 1, 2011, my travel has become more convenient. Cavitex is short for Cavite expressway, its end is adjacent to coastal road and the other end, to Binakayan.  It takes me only 50 minutes from Baclaran to Naic in a bus. I’ m so happy because our town Naic becomes nearer to Manila.

Inspirational Poem

I really like the sonnet “how Do I Love Thee” by Elizabeth Browning. The first time I read this sonnet was in high school. This poem is filled with imagery, sensibility and infatuation. Now that Valentine's is just around the corner, you can guys can post this to your loveletters addressed to your girl. I saw this poem one time in a Valentine card. Here's the poem:

How do I love thee?
by Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Eye Irritation and Headache

I am getting headache these past few days because of over exposure to the computer screen. During my free time in the  office, I usually update my blogs or read anything online. I am a wide reader. I think constant exposure to CRT also causes my eyes to irritate. Earlier, I bought a pair of eyeglasses that protects the eyes from UV exposure, I guess it will also be good when I read online. Furthermore, I may not need to wear my sunglasses anymore when walking under the sun. Hang on, I will just try my new eyeglasses.
